Vermiculture (Earthworm Production) Meeting Scheduled

According to Wayne Rowland Agricultural & Natural Resources Technician with the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Vance County Center a Vermiculture Meeting has been scheduled for June 24, 2013 at 6:30pm at the Vance County Cooperative Extension Center, 305 Young Street, Henderson. Vermiculture (the cultivation of earthworms used for bait and in composting) has the potential to increase income for both farmers and gardeners. This meeting will focus on earthworm production that can be profitable, techniques of vermicomposting, and the benefits of vermiculture for more information and to register contact Wayne Rowland at 252-438-8188.
