The SEASON EXTENSION – HIGH TUNNEL Vegetable Production Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, December 11, at 10 a.m. at the Vance County Regional Farmers Market, 210 South Park Drive in Henderson, according to D. Wayne Rowland, Agriculture & Natural Resources Technician. All farmers and gardeners wanting to learn about extending your vegetable growing season and high tunnel vegetable production should attend. This will lead to better profitability for your vegetables. Speaker: Dr. Sanjun Gu, Horticultural Specialist with NC A&T State University. Dr. Gu has conducted extensive research on the topic.
