On behalf of the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Administrative Professionals Association (NCCEAPA), I am pleased to share information about the Herter-O’Neal Scholarship, a $750 scholarship opportunity available to deserving students within our local communities.
The Herter-O’Neal Scholarship is awarded each year to honor the work and dedication of Edith Herter and Frances O’Neal, founding members of the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Administrative Professionals Association (NCCEAPA). NCCEAPA membership is comprised of North Carolina Cooperative Extension administrative assistants representing all 100 counties, the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, NC State University, and NC A&T State University.
This scholarship is targeted toward current and enrolling college students pursuing an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business or a business-related field.
Eligibility and award guidelines include: 1) Applicants must be a legal resident of North Carolina; 2) All eligible applicants will be considered; 3) Privacy of all applicants will be protected; 4) Scholarship funds are paid directly to the college rather than to the individual and may be used to cover tuition and/or books.
