Join Us for a Meet & Greet
Stop in the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Vance County Center on Tuesday, September 10, 2019, between 3 and 4:30 p.m. to meet Nitasha Kearney. She’s the new (EFNEP) Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program Educator. She will be focusing on nutrition education for the youth in Vance County using the EFNEP curriculum.
Nitashua holds a diploma in Medical Coding and Billing from Vance Granville Community College. She is a life long resident of Warren County and is excited about educating the citizens to improve the health and well-being of our community’s youth.
EFNEP has been helping limited resource youth and families with children learn how to eat healthier meals and snacks, stretch their food dollars and reduce the risk of food-borne illnesses. The program is relationship driven, with a hands-on educational approach. You can contact Nitasha by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 252-438-8188, or you can stop by the N.C. Cooperative Extension, Vance County Center.
