Thanks to generous support from the N.C. Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services, a new smartphone app has been launched to promote consumer-focused agriculture-related businesses. Eligible enterprises include farm stands, farm stays, agritourism operations, restaurants featuring locally grown, and much more. Eligible enterprises can have their information included in the app at no charge. This opportunity has been made possible through a five county partnership between N.C. Cooperative Extension, economic development agencies, and tourism departments. The participating counties include Vance, Warren, Franklin, Granville and Person. To learn more, download this flyer. To apply for a listing, fill out this survey and return it to one of the participating N.C. Cooperative Extension offices.
