This year, Citizenship North Carolina Focus will focus on advocacy and telling your story, local and state government, and action planning. If a youth delegate participates fully in this conference (attending all sessions as well as completing the final project) they will receive a t-shirt (youth designed and selected) as well as a certificate.

Dates: June 15-17, 2020

Location: Zoom

Times: 1–4 p.m. each day

Cost: There is no cost to attend this event. Ages: This event is open to all 4-H youth ages 13-18 and North Carolina 4-H agents/program assistants and associates.

Limit: This event is open to the first 300 youth who register and the first 50 4-H agents/program assistants and associates who register.

Registration: Registration will open on May 26 and close on June 5 unless all spaces fill before that date. If spaces fill up, those who register after spaces are full will be placed on a waitlist. A registration worksheet is attached to help you collect the information that will be needed when registration opens.

Final Project: After attending the conference, participants are expected to work with their 4-H Agent to develop and implement an action plan utilizing the skills they learned during the conference. The tentative due day for the final project is August 10, 2020.
