Whip It Up Wednesday Recipe

Summer is in full swing, and so are many of the local farmers markets! Farmer markets are a great place to buy local fruits and vegetables and some farmers markets accept EBT cards. When you visit your local Farmers market you will find fruits and vegetables that are picked at the peak of their growing season, meaning this produce is the freshest and the tastiest available. You may also find your local Cooperative Extension EFNEP Educator conducting food demonstrations, handing out samples and recipes as well as sharing when their next youth and adult classes will be held. Attending these classes will teach your family how to cook more delicious fruit and vegetable recipes.

Crispy Taquitos Recipe

Crispy Taquitos

I challenge you to visit your local farmers market and pick up the vegetables to make this delicious recipe!

Fresh Pico de Gallo, cooked chicken, veggies, and cheese combine to make these tasty taquitos that are baked, not fried, for a healthy meal or snack.
