PROSCIUTTO SALAD – A SUMMER SALAD THAT FEATURES SWEET, RIPE CANTALOUPE FROM THE LOCAL FARMERS MARKET

Are you tired of the same old salad? Try this recipe combined with prosciutto and cantaloupe, creamy mozzarella balls, fresh basil, and then drizzled with balsamic vinegar. There’s nothing better on a warm summer day! This cold refreshing salad is both sweet and salty and bursting with flavor from the very first bite right down to the last!

Only one cup of cantaloupe contains just 55 calories while offering over 100 percent of your daily needs for vitamin A, and over 50 percent of the daily needs for vitamin C, has 1.5 grams of fiber, and is a good source of the mineral potassium.
