A recipe for a fun-filled day that’s all about healthy foods, healthy lives, and exercise!

N.C. Cooperative Extension in Vance County will be offering nutrition classes to youth in grades 3-12 on the 3rd Saturday of each month starting on October 16, 2021, at noon. This is a 7-week program and is free to participants. All food samples are included.

Join us as we travel the world through food. You will learn to create dishes in countries such as: Mexico, Kenya, Ethiopia, Australia, Thailand, Tanzania, and Japan as well as physical activities that were originated in that country.

International Cooking Class

Classes will be held at Aycock Recreation Center located at 307 Carey Chapel Road in Henderson. Please register soon as spaces are limited.
